i tried some biscuit crumbs when trying to bait them for some macro-zoom photos - and also seeing where they carried it to identify the nest. though they'd be all over it.
but only a few investigated, two or three carried crumbs away, and all of them eventually got bored and dropped them. one even got confused and carried theirs most of the way back before dropping it.

One time i come across mine with some ants, i keep in mind i devour this variety of super style of chocolate the day beforehand. im no longer diabetic yet whilst the physique cant breakdown to many sugar it tend to secreat it by potential of urine or by potential of sweat. this is the reason your undies have ants.

Ants like to be able to dissolve the stuff and eat it. Sugar is yummy, as well as fruit, as well as fruit juice. Biscuit crumbs have little gritty pieces which they can't ingest which is why they didn't like it.

Cheetos. Seriosly, once I dropped a Cheeto on the floor outside, came back an hour later and there were ants everywhere, piling on top of each other. EWWWW!!! It was gross

My daughter left a peeled banana in the garden and it was swarming with ants. Also a yoghurt pot.

Leave an open jar of jam out, they will flock to it for sure, then you have them inside the jar for taking photos.

they, not unlike humans, love pizza and beer. But will settle for dead insects and some plants.(that taste like pizza)
