You choose the option to create a playlist and you will see an empty folder. Just look for your songs in your windows folder. You can just drag and drop the music files you want into the playlist. After you get all the songs you want in your playlist, you can re-arrange your playlist so that you can number your songs. Then you just hit the "record" or "burn" button and it will burn it into your CD.

How do you get songs into the playlist? All the instructions say to burn songs from the playlist but nowhere does it say how to put them there. In other words, do you have to download songs to your hard drive and then drag and drop them into the playlist? Or is there some other technique to create a playlist?

you can usually just go to file, create new playlist or some thing like that. you'll need a CD burner first. if your computer is fairly new it probably has one. depending on which version you're using, at the top it'll say "burn". just select the songs you want, and find the blank CD on your computer.

Its easy,
If you want to copy a CD then put the CD in the CD drive and hit the rip button, after ripping the music hit the burn button and them drag the music over to the column that says burn and then hit burn, to create a play list simply take the music from all music, hit create new play list and drag the music over. If you want to use music from a CD to create a play list rip those files and then take them from all music and drag them to your play list.
Some music sources will not let you burn Cd's with their music such as Napster, real one player, Sony music, They have copy wright rules. hope this helps.
