I always thought that Billy Bob Thornton was Maddox's adoptive father. He & Angelina were married when they adopted him together. Now Brad Pitt is in the process of adopting him as well?

Actually, Jolie adopted Maddox while she was still married to Thornton but she adopted him alone. Thornton has no rights to give up.
