Try a homeopathic remedy called Arnica Montana. You might have to look for it at a Health Food store, but some chain grocery stores carry Homeopathic remedies. The bottle of tiny tablets is about $5 and by taking as directed should get you feeling much better quickly

A bath in epsom salts should help. Also, a castor oil pack to the area could help. To make a castor oil pack:

- buy castor oil, flannel and a hot water bottle from health food store
- fill the hot water bottle with, you guessed it, hot water
- saturate the piece of flannel with castor oil and apply it to the the affected area, with the hot water bottle over it
- leave the pack on for at least 4 hours (try to keep it on over night).

Arnica is a homeopathic pain relever which has absolutely no drugged up feeling, which may help too.

Hope that helps!

I didn't read the whole thing, but they don't do anything for broken ribs. Just tru to not put stress on the area and they will heal. I have had several. They used to tape you up, but with restriction, people got pneumonia.
