Well, that's a tough one. It could be Peyton Manning, but with James gone, he may be getting sacked more. Tomlinson may be a good choice. He always seems to be a good fantasy pick. Edgerrin James is heading into a very high powered offense and could be a great pick. Shuan Alexander had a buch of yards and TDs last year, he could be a great pick, but he lost one of his key blockers. If I had the first pick, I think I would still go with Peyton Manning.

Larry Johnson ... after only 9 starts last season, he racked up over 1700 yards for the Chiefs and hit double digits for TDs.

Shaun Alexander is also a strong option, but I think his stock will drop slightly with the loss of Steve Hutchinson at the O-Line. However, Shaun is still a stud in fantasy leagues, so he is also an acceptable choice.

LaDainian Tomlinson has one issue: an unproven QB at the helm. This will focus defenses more on LT and could end up causing a hit in his point total.

Go with the RBs in the order I mentioned.

Take LJ, there are only 3 viable candidates u can use wit this pick(shaun alexander,Larry Johnson,Ladania Tomlinson) startin only 9 games i feel that LJ has the biggest upside of the 3, LT has to play wit a new unproven qb which may make defenses more focused on stoppin him while Shaun Alexander did have his best season last year which was coincidentally his contract year???he also lost the best guard in da league steve hutchinson. Take LJ ull be happy u did at the end of the year.

Depending on the type of draft (keeper or regular league-may change your pick) you will want to go with a RB first. In my ten years of Fantasy Football one thing is a given you want to be one that selects as many top RB's as possible. L.Tomlinson, Larry Johnson and or Shaun Alexander should be your first thoughts. Tomlinson is the perfect package and scores high in most standrad scoring Fantasy leagues. He is your best bet!

easy alexander. Larry Johnson did amazing in the time he played but he needs to prove he can do it for a full season. On the other hand Alexander (not including his first season where he got very limited time) he has never scored less then 12 TDs and 1175 yards. He is reliable and only getting better. LT is great but has a new QB and that could affect his stats. Johnson also has a quickly deteriorating QB in Trent Green. Johnsons O line is also getting old.

I would say go with a solid RB like LT, Larry Johnson, or Shaun Alexander. Peyton is a good choice, but when it comes to him throwing all the time it wont take defenses long to cover that up and pick him off, b/c honestly he has no running game behind him to help protect the pass. Therefore go with a good RB with the first pick.

LT or Shaun, it's a toss-up. Never take a QB #1. Why would you when you can get a Matt Hasselbeck, Brett Favre or Manning's brother Eli after the 4th-5th round in most leagues? All starting running backs should be off the board by round 3.

If you love consistent 15 point weeks, weke in and week out take either Payton or LT. If you are in a 2 QB league then it is PM otherwise it has to be LT. While Sean may acrue more points over the entire season, his occassional bomb sheel games don't help you in week 15 and 16 when he gets rested.

That said, if you know you are good at fantasy and will make the playoffs, LT makes even more sense, since his team will be fighting to make the playoffs, while PM and SA teams will prob. be in coast mode.

Shaun Alexander, even with the addition of Nate Burleson, the Seahawks offense relies on their running game, so Alexander will get his touches and continue to score touchdowns at a rapid pace.
If you don't like Alexander, you can select Larry Johnson, he showed amazing skills when he played last year, and should get his touches because the Chiefs need a decent running game to win, and Herman Edwards likes to run more than pass.
