use WD-40, it sounds wierd but it cleans almost anything

Ketchup... I know it sounds weird, but the acid from the tomatoes eats the discoloration on the pewter. It may take a while and some elbow grease, but it works, I swear!

a rough shammy cloth and plenty of elbow grease
