I simply don't want one. I don't see a point in doing it, but if that's what you like, good for you.

Why do you presume my lack of an avatar indicates I'm lazy...and that it's not an intentional choice on my part so you'll assess my answers at face value rather than based on some baseless pretty picture?
And why can't you take the time to spell "atvar" correctly, my friend?

You don't need to create an avator..I use my yahoo one...just select a face..it very seldom actually looks like you. Its simply a representative avator..
I agree with you...those faces are so blah...it does not take long to simply select the nearest avator, or spend some time creating one that suits you and your personality.
I agree with you completely...it does make the reply better and it is not difficult to do...even for you people who think it looks hard...so don't bother..
Try it..the link is below...

Well..I'm not lazy. I don't have an avatar because I would rather not have one. You have no need to know what color hair, skin, or eyes I have or what gender I am. And it would be dumb to just make one up that didn't look like me. It's not that we're lazy, we just don't want one.

All the avatars look like 16 yr old kids. I'm far from being that young.

Some people (like me) think it's a waste of time..you don't need it to answer a questions so what's the point in making one?

I have an avatar, but I prefer the gray smiley for this.
The cartoon avatars all look about the same anyway.
