Hey, first you should get in touch with someone you like - and till that's really serious somehow, you'd have enough time to drop positive comments on "a boy from school" or what ever - and if that takes some months, then your parents surely will realize that you are ready.
Don't be kept off making experiences!

Girl you have all the time in the world to get a boyfriend trust me you dont want to get involved with one they are danger... And no you are not ready you ready when your out of school and have you own house, job, car etc. You shouldnt be in no rush right now you have a lot of time. Boys bring babise and a lot of other problems that shouldnt be concentrating right now. School is what you need to be concerned about. but i cant make you do anything you dont want to do.
So therefore, good luck with you dad!

hi there i am 23 years old and i was in highschool once and i thought that i wanted a boyfriend to but you know what boyfriends will be there when you get out of highschool, right now you and and your grades are the most important, and of course you mother is going to be okay with it to a certian point but your dad if he cares like it sounds like he does then he wouldn't want you dating either especially one on one dating and serious relationship stuff. that should be saved for after highschool when you are a little older and more mature and can really handle how cold and crude men can be. because they really and truely will tell you anything u wanna hear just to get what they want out of u. take it from me with pregnancy and STD"s what they are today i wouldnt want to risk getting a boyfriend there isn't any reason why u can't have guy friends that u hang out with in a group but i would leave it at that and u will in the end be alot happier.

I remember trying to convince my parents I was ready. Looking back I know now they were right. I was too young. I'm glad they made me wait a little while longer. Keep being a good girl or they will make you wait even longer. Show them they can trust you and that you will obey them. Then they will see how grown up you have become.

Lol. You can't convince them about something like that, I don't care what you do. If you are already in HS, then you aren't too far from being an adult. Wait it out if you have to... But don't go behind their backs! That's just wrong. Good luck! -a-
