yes, yes, I have no friends because I don't take that crap from people...it's hard for me to forget in the "forgive and forget" type of thing...so I ditch 'em all. I'm better by myself.

I'm definitely a loner and I love being alone. It really energizes me whereas being around people drains the life out of me. I'm not unhappy or depressed, and I'm childfree and married (going on 11 years) to a very understanding man. I guess I've always been this way, and yea society thinks it's odd but I'm ok with that. It's nice to be able to see things from a more introverted perspective, and even though it makes life more challenging I wouldn't choose to be an extrovert if given a choice. It causes a few problems with my work, but I'm in a tech field and I get to work from home nearly all the time...so I guess the point is if you're a loner by nature you have to try to make things work for you instead of trying to conform to other people's expectations. Some people are alone because they have to be or they have issues, but some of us are psychologically healthy (and yes, I *do* have a degree in psych!) but simply prefer being alone to being around others. I'm not entirely sure what made me a loner, but yep I like it.

i AM a loner. yeah, i like it. in fact, i chose this path for myself when i was really young. i have never once regreted it. why, u may ask? is being alone so much fun?
as a matter of fact, yeah. i would have to say i enjoy being alone. it gives me a sense of freedom and inner peace that the company of other individuals would just destroy. when i'm around ppl, i get easily enraged and my inner scale falls out of balance. i have an insanely short fuse, thus i have found that when i am alone, there is nothing and noone to light that fuse. i am always at peace with everything around me: nature, the heavens, my soul... everything except the puny ppl who made this world a mess!!
yep...being a loner ain't half bad. in fact... i would pick loneliness over company any day.

Nobody likes me so am forced to be alone. Its boring and I think am growing hair on my palms.
