I sat through at least 2 of his routines without laughing once. I don't see what the big hype is about. Does everyone think he's funny?

I saw the comedy central one, and some other thing...
Chris Rock, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Norm McDonald, Ellen Degeneres, Dennis Leary, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle all take a collective sh*t on Dane Cook, especially Carlin. Cook is terribly overrated...

I've heard segments of him on Sirius. On the 10-point laugh scale, where 1 is not funny, 5 is a smile, and 10 is laughing with tears, his stuff falls between 5 to 9, with an average of about 7.5.
There are some funnier comics out there, but he's pretty funny.

To each their own. A lot of people probably don't share your taste in music or your taste in clothing so why would everyone share in your taste in comedy.
I can only take about 30 seconds of Robin Williams. Personally, My favorie routine is Eddie Murphy's Delirious and Chris Rocks Biggger and Blacker.
Dane is a young, hip comedian and a lot of the younger generation can relate to him.

Are you high? I caught his stand up route on Saturday Night live and it was the BEST opening I have seen so far and I have been watching the show since it started

I think he is f%@$ing funny. Especially in the movie "Waiting". and his stand-up comedy on comedy central

I agree, he's very overrated. I love comedy, but he just isn't funny to me.
