You may want to look up skateboarding web sites (some has tutorial videos on how to do flips, ollie, etc.) or join a Yahoo group (if there is one). Visit a local bookstore and pull up anything relating to skateboarding... and magazines (i.e. Transworld, Switch, Slap, etc.) I usually try to find a copy of dvds (skateboarding competition) and watch the pros and imitate them. Visit events if there is one. Your best bet at doing something good... well... one could always say practice makes perfect. Good luck!
