whats so good about it that they should hold it?

you should've asked that when they (International Olympic Committee) voted on it six years ago!

From what I remember, it's because .... hey, i think it's a bad choice too. I mean, have you seen the mascots for them? It's a plot to bring back the Pokemon. Or something just as gay.

Because they were picked, and it's good that they're being brought into the world at large, not holed up and turned inward. With outside influence there's a better chance they'll change they're views on things the rest of the world view as problems for them. And, WalMart is there, why not the Olympics?

They put together the best bid to the Olympic committee. China has never hosted the olympics so it's about time they did.
