its a nice card, and they[ card companies and dealers] would have you think it's a treasure[ unless you are trying to sell it to them] but there are a lot around... how many "chips" do you think you can get off 1 bat... a thousand?? and consider the language, "....A bat used in the ws"... there must have been 100 bats used legitimately in the ws, and often the card companies make arragements for a player to use a diffrent bat each time at bat and maybe 1 bat for every swing in practice before the game... they hold special games jus so players can keep changing uniforms evey inning , then they sell the uniforms or pieces of them as "game worn".... i saw it on "60 minuts" or some show like that.
all that said , it still a cool card to keep and pass on to your children... anyway ive bought plenty of cards like that from dealers for $5... and i'm sure i overpaid.... yes feel good you got the card keep it in good condition for your grand children.

Well since you bought it from a plave like Kmart i am assuming instead of a specialized dealer it isn;t worth much, and its worth even less if you can;t find the right buyer. If you really want valuble cards go and find like a Barry Bonds rookie card or one of mark macguire and the 1984 olympic team those are cards to be proud of.
