No. Personally, I liked the symbol for "F" better. Also, some people say that WWF was more hardcore, but really, no, it s the same thing. Vince McMahon originally named it WWF. Then, the World Wildlife Fund went to court with the WWF, because they wanted the right to the name "WWF". Since the World Wildlife Fund is a company for a good cause, the judge/jury told Vince to change the name. So, Vince changed the name to WWE. This stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. (The old one was World Wrestling Federation.)

Here's an interesting fact: A lawsuit was filed against the WWF (now the WWE) by the World Wildlife Foundation because of what they said was, "...trademark infringment.". The WWF (WWE) lost the battle and is now World Wrestling Entertainment. Hope this helped.

NO. The court battle with the World Wildlife Foundation and the World Wrestling Federation designated the letters WWF to the World Wildlife Foundation.
It is fitting though. There really is no true wrestling anymore, we all see and follow what Vince wants us to. It's a soap opera for men is all it is, but by god I love it.

Unfortunately no.Their was a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Foundation over trademark infringement.WWF lost and has been reborn as World Wrestling Entertainment.

no. The WWF is the World Wildlife Fund. They had a big dispute over the domain name a few years ago and WWFE lost (WWE).

I just recently heard that they are trying to copywrite the world wrestling fedration name again; i don't know if they will bring back the old symbol.

No and they already said they aren't a sport they are Sports ENTERTAINMENT. So they should go with the E instead.
