Most phones have a function in the menu to let you disable the gps. I'm curious if the phone will work at all wrapped in foil though. Try it!

Hmm. Toughy. Foil is good for making a homemade grill, but bubble wrap is definitely better for causing havoc/fun in Dragon's office.

Not to question your motives.
yes you can, but not guaranteed.
the foil can act as an antenna and boost signal in some cases
want to be sure remove battery while turned on.
That is a mean thing to do to your phone but will work.

i doubt aluminum foil would work.....
i would try a thin lead sheet. you can get that at a metal supplier or maybe a medical supply for x-ray purposes.....
