While you guys are apart try to speak with her as if shes right there. If you talk to her like, "Oh, I love you baby i wish I could be with you this very minute" all the time, it will make her feels kinda smothered. And say for instance if she may want to take a break, stuff like that could make it harder for her to admit it. So take things really slow try to make it more of a fun experience and not so gloomy. You have to figure that if you gys do make it, that would be amazing. So the best way for that to happen is to stay happy. You guys are going to college which is something in life that you need in order to help fufill dreams. So when college is done you guys can look back at all the happy things. Dont make college a bad an mopey experience. Be excited, and say "hey it may suck that were going to be apart for sometime. but its not as if im going to the war or anything. were still going to talk and see each other. Maybe not as often, but it will help our relation ship". thats my best advice from coming out of a few long distance relationships.

Make sure your communication lines are always open. Make sure she knows she can always call you, no matter what time and you'll be there for her.. and stick to it.. if she calls... answer the damn phone! and try and make trips to see eachother once a month.. alternate like you go to her one month and the next month she comes to you. absence makes the heart grow fonder.. too much absence and she may forget you're around. good luck.. .long distance stuff is HARD!

Talk on the phone, use computer instant messengers, trust her, and you need to be faithful to her. If it was meant to be, it will be. I have been married 14 years to my long distance relationship(we were apart 2 years). We didn't even have cell phones or computers.

sad to say ...it's prolly best to break up. i've done long distance relationships....You're going to start college and are about to experience the best years of your life!!! It's better to be free and experience the joys of college single.
