Dont worry it's no big thing you're totally Norm its just that, when you dont know someone closely you tend to not have strong feelings toward that person . same with me my cousin died about two months ago yet I didnt cry I did feel sad but it was because I knew him but from a far . I dont mean I dont know him we were cool but it was just hi , its something like that with you if you know someone very well or very closely you have a stronger bond than someone who you know from a distance and arent really that close. So dont worry you're cool.

In all honestly, i am exactley the same way. I have lost a few family member and close friends and I didnt cry once. I guess maybe in my eyes, I just seen it as their "plan" and that death is a part of life no matter how they go. I know it sounds terrible but its the truth. You may just be a very realistic person and can see that life begins and life ends. It doesnt make u a bad, careless or cruel person at all. It is just who you are inside.
Good Luck,
Sarah

I went through the same thing except I was close to my uncle.....he lived in NSW and I live in TAS he died after he went back after a month long visit...I was completely destroyed I had never gotten to say goodbye.
The point I'm trying to reach is that everybody grieves in a totally different way, I am very sorry about your loss and I wish you all the best in the future!! :)

My girlfriend says the same thing to me. She says i have no emotion when something such as a death to a family member.
But we have talked and come to realize that it was actually somthing that happened in teh past which made me shut off all emotions so i couldnt get hurt. You must look in your past for a heart break or a traumatic experience and then i think you will find the root of your lack of emotion when something unfortunate happens

different people react different ways that is not to say you do not care you just deal with it different. So there is nothing wrong with you It sounds like you deal with death different than some others do. each person grieves different ways.

Maybe you don't allow yourself to feel the pain that comes along with death . Do you have trouble showing / feeling other emotions ?
