i dont its the only sport that doesn't wear pads besides rugby

I wouldn't call it gay.... I would call it boring like counting sand.... The entire game can usually be reduced down to thirty seconds of action (scoring). With the proper editing I bet I could see the entire world cup in under 1 hour. It is this boring quality that makes the game so unappealing to American T.V. We just don't have the proper attention span for the game. Even if the US team was doing well (which it never does) I bet most Americans would still not watch it.

hockeys a real sport, with the bodychecking and the stitches and all in all rough play unlike soccer the academy awards. and a bunch of little boys moaning groaning when they fall down!!
