I always thought that people with skinny legs would never develop them no matter what they do. I had the worst skinny leg you can imagine. My legs were so thin that some times I wonder if I had polio o something like that when I was a kid…I could embrace my leg with one of my hands just above my ankle. My calves were, I think, in my butt because I never saw them. And don’t make tell you about the hair on my legs: they were like one here and the other one over there. It was horrible, horrible!
One day I asked a friend of my who is into Body Building if I should just forget about it and move on with my life. He told me: “Where ever there is a muscle it can be develop” That made sense to me, but I never had a chance to give it my last try until this summer.
Now I love my legs so much that I even shave them (I’m a guy) to show off. I like the way they look because I still have a thin ankle, but all the muscle of my legs have grown so they have a very nice contour. My legs have some kind of harmony in their shape now. I’m confident they will be even nicer because now that I see they respond to the training I have more enthusiasm to continue. I order a leg exercise machine. It supposed to arrive next week. This is what I do:
1-2 ½ miles on the tread mill
2-4 set of calf raise 270 lb, SoloFlex (one set: 10 rep front, and 10 rep back) you want to develop the front and the back muscles of your legs. I think that’s the key of my success.
3-4 set 340 lbs squats, sitting for now…
All that takes me about 1 ½ mins. Then, I do like 45 mins of exercise for the upper body. I also ride my bicycle some weekends (wearing my tight shorts) 20 miles, but that is just to show off jejeje.
I exercise no more than 4 times a week, some times only twice. When I’m tire I don’t exercise. I’m tired right? So I rest. I most say also that I’m also taking Supplements and vitamins…and eating a lot too. By the way, I’m a vegetarian, but that’s another story.
Male, 40y/o, 5' 10"h, 183lbs.

Don`t worry about it! I think that is good because i used to really skinny legs too, like toothpick legs, and then now they aren`t so skinny but they aren`t fat either. You could try exercising like everyone else says. Cycling is the best, just do that maybe three times a week around the block or everyother day if you want. Also if you are really concerned yoiu could try buying pants or skirts that help fill your klegs out more. Bahama shorts are really good.
Good Luck!!

DON'T pay attention to the time period 'pear' form it is a terrible terrible time period. You will have skinny legs! You simply have to tone up that is all. You can do detailed sporting activities like crunches, squats (they're the first-class!) to tone up your legs, ***, and knees in case you particularly desire! Also, you could desire to don't forget that it is whatever to do together with your vitamin. If you are thighs are better then it is reasonable to mention that whilst you placed on weight, the fats and so forth is going on your thighs. I was the equal. I used to consume a whole lot of crap and my belly could NEVER get colossal. However then I grew slightly and I began noticing that my thighs are method too colossal. So I ate more fit, toned up, and now my frame appears such a lot bigger. Just consume more fit and perform a little firming - extraordinary convenient!

I have that problem too and it use to bother me so much until I started paying more attention to models' legs in high end fashion and I noticed their legs are skinny too. You could tone them, by exercising, but if you are slim all around then you should enjoy it.

Don't worry about it. At least you can fit into whatever pair of pants you like. What's to hate? Learn to accept your own beauty. If someone makes a negative comment, just tell them: "If you don't like my legs then don't look at them. I like them and, when it comes to my body, that's the only opinion that matters!"
Practice saying that in front of the mirror if needed.

Biking, running, and walking (especially biking) will all help you gain muscle in your legs, as well as stay healthy and keep fit.
