As you begin to swish mouthwash around your saliva glands kick in full blast. by the time you spit it out it is 10 percent (or more) spit. After 3 or 4 uses you'll be using a possible 50% spit solution with 5% or more of LIVE germs and bacteria. since most only kill 99% of germs and bacteria. If this sounds appetizing, you are one sick puppy! I wouldn't even go so far as to share a single mouth full since you may be transplanting more resistant G & B from mouth to mouth renderring the mouth wash fairly useless.

It's probably not a good idea.

Although your mouthwash kills germs, it doesn't kill ALL germs. The only thing that for sure kills all germs is an autoclave. So, although your mouthwash is relatively clean, it will have some germs in it that it got from your mouth and that fell into it from the air. If you want to save money on mouthwash, you can probably just use a little bit.

I don't think it would be too wise to reuse mouthwash. I mean why would you. Once it kills those germs its pretty much served its purpose. Its like a time only type of thing.

After being used, the antiseptic properties have been changed. It would most likely work if you reused it, but not be nearly as powerful as before. Do you really want to take that risk?
