No, it doesn't.. It wouldn't hurt to use a spyware and/or adware program too. Such as Spy sweeper, from Symantec or Adware, from Lavasoft. I use Spy Sweeper and it even found and deleted a trojan horse. Cool, huh?

It all depends on what version of Norton Anti-Virus you are currently running on your PC. The latest Norton which is 2006 protects from Spyware, detects any worms trying to execute when accessing the Internet. If you are running a simple version like version 9.0 and up you should be fine as long as you have the latest updates installed.

No, it will not protect you from Spyware as good as most think. You need to try a program much like Spyware Sweeper and use Norton for Anti-Virus, if it's actually helping. I personally like www.Avast.com which is free and MUCH better!

yes,it does.ONLY the dangerous ones.
the mcafee will protect you from almost all spywares.
but still,norton is the best antiVirus ever!!

No never. You should choose any Antispyware to protect your system from spyware.
microsoft antispyware is a free software you can download it.

maybe a little, i don't like norton...if your using windows xp, then i reccomend "windows defender" http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
