I have always thought she seemed a bit arrogant and pushy. Since Everybody Loves Raymond ran it's course, she seems to be on every talk show and commercial she can...too much visibility can backfire....so while everybody may have loved Raymond, it is not the case with Patricia...

There are several reasons: she is Catholic, very devoted to her faith, which rubs a lot of people the wrong way; and she has four children, family life is important to her, raising her children properly and being a devoted wife and mother. Of course some liberals and feminists are going to hate her.

she came off as too bossy she treated raymond like he was nothing even though he was selfcentered....she had poor mothering skills with the character that she protrayed ...and i think she had a thing for rays brother robert.....lol....
