Almost all notebooks & laptops come with, or have available, an AC adapter. Get one for your computer and plug it in. The computer should run while the battery charges.
Under Windows, you can set up different power modes, depending on whether you're on AC power or battery, so that it might run at full speed while on AC, but at reduced speed on battery to conserve the battery life.

Yes, but they become less rechargable the older they get - that is, eventually the charge doesn't last very long. Typically notebooks come with a power cable for plugging into an electric outlet, which you also use to charge the battery.

You can recharge them by pluging your notebook into the wall. While it is plugged in, it doesn't use the batteries and recharges them. But you still have to buy new ones every couple of years. Mine is on my second year though and lasts like 2-3 hours depending. Your notebook should have come with a plug in accessory.

In the bios of your notebook there is a setting to Run battery learning under the power option. Try that, it sometimes gives you enough power in your battery to be able to use the power coard with it. Tho it may not completely return your battery life it is helpful. But it takes about an hour for it to complete. Good luck and i hope this helps.

Your batteries should be recharged just by plugging your computer into a 110 vote electrical outlet.
If the batteries do not recharge when you do that I would say the batteries are shot and have to be replaced.

Yes, make sure the battery is present and use your AC adapter to charge. Depending on the model, the charge time will vary. There should be a light on the laptop that tells you it is charging.

you need an AC adapter.
Its about a 2-5 pound box. one end connects to an electric outlet, and the other connects to your laptop, usualy in the back.
...if you dont have that dont try anything else, you could easily fry your laptop.
