Your migraines could be a sign of something really serious (besides stress and anxiety). Try drinking black tea and yoga. It relaxes your mind, body, and soul. I would also suggest seeing your Primary Health Care Provider if your migraines get worse. I was diagnosed with severe migraines years ago and placed on medication (basically a high dose of Excedrin). I stopped the pills, got rid of the people who brought negativity to my life, started exercising, and I haven't got a migraine since then. GOOD LUCK! Laugh more, stress less!

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. I have many patients with this problems and I always perscribe FEVERFEW, it's a herbal remedy and has now been found to work on this problem. You can get these capsules from any health shop.I also recommend aromatherapy oils, you add these to a warm bath.(check which ones are right for this type of problem) and go to a massage therapist. Your diet may also be the problem you should see a nutritionist for this.

Resting or sleeping in a dark room, during or after an attack, may be beneficial for some people.

Reducing or avoiding chocolate, certain cheeses (high in tyramine), foods with yeast extracts, monosodium glutamate (present in many processed foods and Chinese cooking), and alcohol may provide relief for some people.

Drinking plenty of water and avoiding drinks with caffeine can also help.

Wearing approved UV protected sunglasses, using a polarizing filter for computer screens, and generally protecting the eyes with regular eye checks can help to avoid effects of visual disturbance.

Regular meals, exercise, and leisure activities can all improve general health and well-being. Relaxation training, psychosocial behavior techniques, and stress management may also help.

Autointoxication is the "secret" cause of migraines, which is directly related to the consumption of certain neurotoxic "foods" like Dairy (casiomorphines) and Wheat (gliadomorphines), synthetic sweeteners (especially aspartame), and a lack of elimination via liver and bowel.

You can explore herbs like butterbar and feverfew, but doing a few cleanses and removing problematic foods like dairy and wheat will go a very long way for you.

Cool dark rooms with ice pack over the ice and on the back of the neck or head... also see a doctor if they are continual, fioricet with codeine is a pretty good prescription (the only one that works for me).
Two years ago I was diagnosed with chronic migraines.

I'd choose the "etc" - a one-time manual treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect on the self-healing power of the body is amazing, experienced it myself! :-)

Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far!

try to avoid using to much electronics, never eat anything completely processed like bologna, and exercise for a few minutes everyday. but dont do something like sit-ups or push-ups cause that causes the blood to rush to your head. go for a run or bike.
