usually, and especially if she is younger than legal age, Your body is not ready for sex until ytou have fully matured. Don't have sex until you are sure your body is fully developed. and then use both birth control(the pill) and a condom. Just because yourfriends aredoing it, or some guy says you are old enough, doesn't make it true. And if he isn't respectful enough to use a condom, he isn't ready for sex either.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I was always super worried about the pain because I do not take pain well and I am a small person. But for me, it wasn't too bad. If you just have him go really slow and you are ready it isn't so bad. It is better if you are aroused-down there- and also you could buy some lube.
And if it hurts too much you can always stop and try again later. I know some have said it didn't hurt them at all. So it just depends on the person.

Depending on the woman. One person mentioned it hurts more if the hymen is still existant, which is true. But for girls who tend to do a lot of lower-body work (run, horseback ride, etc) the hymen tends not to be. Therefore, it hurts less and most likely causes no bloodshed. If the hymen is in tact, it does have a bit of pain to it and some bloodshed. Also, if you're a small-boned girl and the man you lose your virginity to has a relatively large penis in comparison to your vagina, you'll feel a temporary pain when his head hits your cervix.
