Hmm I love watching the games but it just doesnt feel right cheering for another country.. and Im surely not cheering on the US! So when do you think Canada will actually qualify for a World Cup Appearance? My personal thought.. 2018? Maybe? Three World Cups From Now?

Canada should qualify for the next World Cup, but likely won't advance too far, but there is hope. Cheer for England or Australia or another commonwealth country, heck we look at the Queen everytime we pull out our wallets. JEFF

well have we already been blown off the face of the mao it was 1980 something that canada qulaified for the world cup ...but with no score ! Never say never as the US before the 1930's the last world cup was their most recent ! Though they act like they have been in it all the time

I think Canada can qualify when they start focusing on soccer. To the players FIFA is a huge deal, but to the country its not. The countries that continue to qualify and move forward are contries where support for soccer is huge. If fifteen percent of the population were extreme soccer buffs I think it may be a different story this year.
