if i throw a 8 pound shot putt 40 feet how far would a 4k shot go?

well, since a 4-kilo shot weights slightly more (8.8 lbs vs. 8 pounds), I guess it would be less than 40', maybe 37' or 38' feet...

Around the same distance. maybe 38 feet. but between 35-40 for sure.
