Why don't you ask the thousands of parents who can't have children and have been waiting for years to adopt a child into a loving, nurturing family?

It depends on what state you live in (if U.S.) Some states will only do it in the first trimester (1-3 months).
Some states allow abortions in the second trimester (4-6 months).
I am almost positive that third trimester abortions are illegal everywhere, unless the mother's life is at risk, or the child's life is at risk.
There are also several different options w/abortion. The medical abortion is a pill you can take, but they only do that within the first 9 weeks. After that, the only option is a surgical abortion and only up to a certain time.
I would check w/your nearest crisis pregnancy center to see what the laws in your state are.
They might also discuss other options with you, depending on where you are in your pregnany, such as open adoption, closed adoption or parenthood.
Hope this helps and remember that pregnancy can make your hormones rage, you may not want the baby now, but will regret the abortion later. Remember that you have to live w/your decision for life. Weigh all options carefully before deciding what's best for you.
I was forced to have an abortion when I was younger and still deal with the anger and guilt.
Take care.

depends where you live. but better abortion than adoption. there is NO scientific evidence that abortion causes lifelong grief and trauma to a mother, but even "open adoption' does and there is plenty of evidence on this: that you can suffer unresolved grief and loss for decades, PTSD, and chronic depression and even secondary infertility.
with abortion there is closure. with adoption there is NO closure and without closure a greif can never be resolved.
if you lose a child for adoption there is a 50% chance that it will be your last child ever. after so much psychological/biological trauma the body sometimes doesn't want to cooperate again. birth sets up a hormonal process in your body that makes you into a mother physically -- take away the baby at birth and the trauma happens as the hormones don't "resolve" the way they should.
and with any adoption you also have to kill your self-esteem and dignity and be happy being used as a walking uterus by people who have the legal ability to sever any contact at all you may wish with your child. and 80% of open adoptions close, according to a staff member at Bethany Christian Centre is an adoption agency.
if you can't get an abortion, remember that there are many resources to help you keep your child and that it's your basic human right to receive the support you need to do so. by the time that child is born, you will have bonded with it and love it and not want to lose it to adoption. believe me.

the answer is the moment you got pregnant! Why do people continue to have unprotected sex and have to ask these questions. Please do me this favor... Go to an abortion site and look at what they do to the babies when they abort them
Then go to adoption web site and see the difference you make in a couples life who want children. Do the right thing, I'm not judging you, but believe me there is someone up there watching
It's not the end of the world for you! But it is for the baby

the 4th. im confused as ive just added to your ? about when did you concieve baby born 25th may???? if your stressing that you may be pregnant again dont, you wont come on for at 6 to 8 weeks after delivery its normal, though you will be highly fertile. if you've done a test and you are pregnant again then you have to do whats right for you.If you had an abortion then you need to ask yourself how will you feel afterwards its something you cant change and have to live with.dont be pressured by anyone its your body and your choice.

I had no symptoms or anything I just didn't get my period... I thought it was because I was irreg. but I was wrong... Go to www.plannedparenthood.com and they'll have the correct information for you or go to www.options.com or www.familyplanning.com Hope this helps... Be careful next time... Use protection
