my washer just stop spining.and washing.is there anything i can do to fix it.can anyone tell me what went wrong with.thanks for you answer. and may you have a bless day.please help me someone. i am to poor to buy a new washer right now.the belt is still on but not moving.

Sounds like the wig wag, we had one go out in our old machine and it was $90 to have it repaired. $60 for the service call, $10 for parts and $20 for labor. You might to do a google search to see if it is your wigwag.

your motor probably burned out, that is why there is a buzzing and the belt isn't moving. See if you can buy a used or new motor for your model and put it in yourself or have a friend do it for some beer.

With the washer unplugged, check & see if you can turn the pump, motor & transmission pulley by hand. If one of them won't turn, that's the problem.

Try the smallest load, and balance it when it buzzes.

sounds like the motor is broken. tough call.
