Getting drunk is not an "accident". Most times it is done on purpose. Also most people who get drunk enjoy it. Why would you want to take that away from them? Are you that cruel? And don't say "because they hurt others or themselves". Getting drunk does neither of these if done responsibly. If you wanted everyone to drink responsibly I would agree with you. But you can't punish lots of people because a few messed up. If its a religous crusaide your on then move it to that section. Other wise, try it you might like it.

Wow, talk about throwing the baby out with the bath!
There are a lot of accidents caused by people on cellphones - do you think we should make sure noone ever can use a cell phone again?
How about people that are plain stupid or bad drivers? They cause more accidents than drunk drivers. Should we remove them from the gene pool?

Make a world where people can feel better with out the use of drugs. Yes, alcohol is a drug. The one thing that people miss out on is that people do not feel good and drugs make them feel good (initially, then they become the problem.) I laugh at commercials that tell us how to keep kids off drugs. They are so simplistic. I want to see the drug commercial that starts in the bleak life of a child who is victimized by sexual assault, child abuse, poverty, racism, sexism and then, when the kid finds something to make them feel better tell them why they shouldn't take it. Please.

Well, there is always prohabition... Ohh wait, that didn't work out so well...

Human nature is human nature. If you tell a group of people they CAN NOT so something then you can bet they will find a way to do exactly what you told them they could not do.

Good luck with this one.

It sounds like you have be hurt by alcohol. You can not control anyone. It is up to he/she to stop drinking. There is a group called Al-anon...check it out. It helps.

Kill them all. That's about it. You can't control everyone. We have free will for a reason, unfortunately, even idiots who drink and drive.
