Depends on the music that will satisfy your guest.

A live band will be limted in numbers of song, although the right one could be classy.
A dj is your best bet and most likely the most diverse.
A Stero is actually most ideal if done right and the worst disaster if done wrong.
Meaning if you have an ipod hooked up you better know your guest and pick the song that will get them on the dance floor as well as

pick songs that mean something to you.not to mention it is least expensive.

A weeding? Is that where you pull out weeds while getting married? Seriously, a DJ is better because they can play any song you want. You could even bring some of your own music with you for the DJ to play. A DJ is much cheaper than a band.

Its all depends on the people you invite.
You see if you and your people is a hip-hop and r&b head then find a Dj.

If you invited a lot of middle age to old people then you use a band( make sure they play up to date songs).

But you never, ever use a stereo on your big day!!!!!! Its the day that you need yo show off your lover, money and wedding.
I Hope this help you out.

a dj. they have the best stuff when a stereo has bad sound quality with cd's and a band can only play their own songs, but the dj can play everything and can get the party going.

A live band rarely accompanies me when i am weeding the garden, so i would opt for a personal stereo. (If i tune it to a radio station, then i could have the services of a DJ for free.)

DJ it will give your guests a wide selection of what they will enjoy. If you get a band quite possibly not everyone will like it. A DJ is more suitable for the event

When I'm doing my weeding, I like to listen to my stereo. It gets too expensive to hire a d.j. or a band every time some dandelions pop up in my yard.
