my boyfriend and i are living with a friend who recently got divroced. we have a killer deal on rent but he is lazy and immature. he is a few years older but is a total mamas boy and cant do anything for himself. he will even walk to the "clean" dishwasher and say he cant do dishes cuz the dishes in the machine are clean. (common sense here?!) he is a friend but i cant take it anymore, we do all the housework and yardwork and he doesnt do anything! what should i do? has anyone else had one of these bad experiences?

My worst roommate experience was when I lived in Baltimore, Maryland. I was working for a law firm & got a phone call at work from someone who said he was from the U.S. Marshall's office.
When I arrived home, my roommate was sitting on the sofa, sweating & nodding off. It turned out that he had been lying about his "carpenter" job, and had been using the basement of my house as a heroin shooting gallery while I was at work 9-5 every day.
To make matters even worse, he was being detained in an interrogation regarding a homicide over a dope deal gone bad. I had NO idea that ANY of this had been going on, and was so pissed off I asked the marshalls to get him out of my house immediately.

you and your boyfriend need to sit him down and tell him to get a job help around the house and tell him he needs to move out by a certain date and stick to it

Draw up a roster for him. Tell him if he doesn't buck up he will have to go.
