I love beach basketball....also Kung Fu. Loved these both, long before I even knew my (maybe not for long)BF, who now wants me out of them. Says guys all feel the same way as he does -- that their "hot GF" should not be staying into sports after H.S.. I doubt it!! I don't think either basketball or Kung Fu are sports that you should stop your GF from being into. I think he just wants me out of basketball because there are spectators. I have no idea why he wants me out of Kung Fu (or maybe it's because I will kick his butt if he keeps bugging me! hehe). Please tell me your opinions.....even if you are on his (stupid) side. Seriously, I need to know!! Thank you.

A good BF would support his GF in whatever her interests are. His insecurities (not feeling good about himself) and control issues (wants to be in charge of you and all you do) are not healthy for a good relationship. It will start with sports etc...then he won't want you going out with your friends, then tell you what to wear. He is not worth the time of day. Dump him fast. Good luck to you and I hope you do well in your sports and whatever you wish to do.

It is great when a girl is athletic and likes to do more than sit arround and watch TV. Play your sports because there is a lot of guys out there that would enjoy playing them with you. Athletic girls are hot as hell. If he can't handle other people looking at you while you are playing basketball then he will only become more controlling and possesive. If he can't handle you playing sports than he should deal with his insecurities on his own.

Thats cool that you play sports. Athletic girls are great. It is fun to be able to just go play sports and not have to shop or whatch movies all the time. Stick with it, he sounds jealous he probably isn't very good at sports.
