well I don't know if by animals you also mean sea life.. but the most interesting fact I know is that the octopus is the #2 smartest living creature, with humans being #1. Pretty cool isn't it!

Cute little pill bugs (aka rolly pollys, sow bugs, woodlice and other names) aren't really bugs at all. They are "terrestrial crustaceans" and related to crabs, lobsters, shrimp, etc.
