I have been in a group interview before for a supervisor position @ a call center. They will interrogate you but the best advice I have is to have an answer to every question. If they ask you what previous work problems you've had make sure you include not only the problem but how you resolved it. Any situational questions make sure you include a solution. Wear business attire, (pants, button up shirt, nice shoes, and clean hair and nails)

Good luck! I've never been to one, but I can only imagine that this is step-one of the elimination process...think American Idol...:) You should dress nicely, no jeans, T-shirt, etc. More like a clean pair of slacks and a button-down shirt...look at what those people who ALREADY have jobs in that theatre wear...and wear something like that. First rule of any interview, don't offer anything unless asked. Be curteous. Smile and don't speak too loudly. Shake heads when introduced to one of the interviewers....unless this is impossible...but at least nod your head politely in their direction, acknowledging the introduction. Bring a resume...you probably have never worked, but at least show what you've done in school and any clubs where you may have been a member. Also, bring some form of ID...like a driver's license or birth certificate.

Be prepared to make a decision on the spot on whether or not you'll accept a position. If you want the job, ask for it...most people are afraid of this, you will be in the minority, I guarantee it! Be upfront about the times you will and won't be available for work (evenings, days, flex-time)...and stick to it. Find out all you can about the working conditions...observe the employees when you go to the theatre...what do they do? Is there anything you don't like about it? If so, ask during the interview. Remember that they need employees to run their business, but you will not stay if you don't feel comfortable there. Good luck!
