the dummies try to make themselves feel better about theemselves, but it get to a point where "CONFIDENCE" becomes cockyness which maks them uglier than they already was!

Just because you think they are ugly doesn't mean someone else doesn't think they are beautiful. Not only that...this is a very generalizing question and an ugly question at that. You may not be ugly physically (and you might be, I don't know, nor care) but you seem to have a less than beautiful personality by posting a question like this. Thank goodness for the people in this world who have beautiful souls.

Some people who have low self esteem will over compensate by acting the opposite of the way that they feel.
You might think others are "ugly", but deep inside have a body image problem.
It works both ways!

I am a bit chubby, and I am not conceited, but I do hear what you are saying. My cousin is the same way. She is fat, and she acts like a size 2, 'ahh, guys love me.' I suppose that that it is a self-confirming denial thing, and when people treat them like crap all the time, this is how they fight back. Also, they could have been thin before and actually been conceited, and they just happen to pack on a 'few' pounds.

I have a theory: Most Ugly people don't think that they are Ugly, as of matter of fact, they actually think that they are Invincible. Even if you tell that person that they are ugly, they won't believe you. Other ugly people don't view themselves as ugly and don't even think about if they ugly or not, they just live their lives as normal people. But you know what let them have their 5-minute fame or whatever, that is their only luxury as of now.

Cuz "pretty people" like you always put people like us down so the only thing that we have is to say we look good to make ourselfs feel happy and special

Here's a thought...maybe it's a defense mechanism because people's feelings get hurt when other people call them ugly.

because pretty people do it, and they feel they are just as pretty and want to show it off. If ur hot and act conceded then i think ur ugly as sh*t. Get over it and act yourself, self confidence is beautiful.

Probably confidence in themselves or insecurities in the side, they probably act like that because of rejection from other people like yourself.
And hey it probably gives them a boost of confidence

You can learn something from those ugly people thats how anyone should feel you are supposed to know you are all that you dont need to let anyone make you feel that your hot do it yourself.
