besides dont? (sorry) i would say that i hope you have talked about life after the wedding, and not just the wedding. sooooo many people do this and then act all stunned when real life hits them in the face. its amazing the things people don't discuss..division of labor and household chores, finances how will they be handled and what exactly are they, where to live (i've actually seen that one), children (when, how many if any), parents, time out with friends...and a million other things that happen in everyday life that people delude themselves into believing won't happen to them.

Always remember why you love this person. .. we are all inherently selfish human beings. Feeling the pleasure of WANTING your partners happiness then you'll have a wonderful life together. Love is the best gift we have to offer.. lol not always appreciated but it starts and ends with the You in a relationship.. not in "what's in it for Me!" An Old by not dead by a long shot hippy girl.

make sure its the right person, and the right amount of time before you're getting married. bc ppl change, after marriage especially. and make sure there are no ifs ands or buts about anything dealing w ur partner. bc if so u r not ready. at all. i have been there and done that.

Run like the wind, have you not seen what the divorce rates are? More than half of all marriages end in divorce, and believe me, it really hurts bad.

Love each other unconditionally, make sure you always make time for each other, & go to church together. The families/couples who prays together, stays together.....
