i'm 13 .Kinda got bummed out when i saw 6 year olds swimming .

I do not know how to swim.

I can't swim. Never could swim anywhere, not even the baby pool. Age 52. Swimming wasn't my cup of tea. I was interested in other things.
Congratulations! I wish I was brave enough to learn when I was young.

that's hilarious! Where do you live? Down here in Arizona, just about every one knows how to swim by age 4. But I know these people in London who are almost 40 and never learned how to swim so don't feel alone! :)

I had grommets put in my ears when young so at that time you wasn't allowed to get water in your ears so i have a very big phobia of water I'm OK in a bath but not shower so no i can not swim would love to but i have booked my son
for swimming lessons and he is doing great.i think its great that you have learned to swim good one whats next for you?

i know how, but have a phobia of h20 over my head & now CAN'T because of a contracture obtained in 95 from a burn accident, so I'm just a wader, but I do just that every chance I can in the Gulf of Mexico....but yes, all children should be taught how to swim for survival.

Welp, I'm older than you and still can't swim . Even with swimming lessons. I'm kind of hopeless. Its the only sport I cant do lol.

really? how old are you? (expect a lot of people saying this) i learned when i was 5. im 14 now. most people who dont kno how is people who havent been around water. or aquaphobes (people afraid of water)
