Regular bras aren't all what they are cracked up to be! I didn't start wearing a "regular" bra untill I was 14. The underwire gets uncomfortable, the straps dug into my skin. I didn't really "develop" until I was 16 anyway, so I could get away with wearing a sports bra. But as I got older the styles of shirts changed and it was hard to cover the straps of a sports bra, so I kinda had to convert to a regular bra. Have someone take you to Victoria's Secret in the mall, or some place to get properly fitted. (They say that 80% of women wear the wrong bra size, you know). Then take that measurement they give you and go to Wal*Mart and get a cheap one in your size. That way if you really can't stand it, (Like me!) then you won't feel bad about buying it. (Cuz bras at Vistoria's Secret can run ya 100 bucks a piece!)Someday you will want a different bra, but I say wear the sports bra for as long as you can! It's WAY more comfy! =) I hope this helps ya honey!

Regular bras are going to give you more a defined form instead of smashing you flat like sports bras do. If you wear a regular bra, I would suggest one that has no underwire to begin with, underwires can be uncomfortable. I'm not suggesting that you want more a defined figure, it's just that some of your shirts might fit differently if you wear a regular bra instead of a sports one. Ultimately though, it's going to be about your comfort issue. I know it can be a tough time when suddenly you've got curves where you hadn't before. If you feel better in sports bras, then stick with it. Congratulations and best of luck to you, you're becoming a young woman! Get ready to be the most fabulous girl you can be!

I would keep wearing sports bras if you are comfortable in them and maybe just try a few regular bras until you find some that are comfortable for you. especially if you are dressing up or wearing something that would look better with a regular bra. My daughter just strating wearing bras in the last year and only wears sports bras becuase they are the most comfortable. Thats the main thing... Comfort..

I started out wearing a sports bra too...but I found that regular bras were more comfortable. And they don't smash you down so you look like a boy! LOL.

Its realy up to you. My daughter is 13 and wears sports bras at times, and regular ones at other...So its realy up to what you are comfortable in. You could try out a padded bra and see how you like it. Just make sure it fits right. Not to big, not to small! =)

Depends on the kind of person you are. Get a reg. bra and if you like it then wear that. If you dont then stick with a sports bra. I like both and wear my sports bra around the house and to the gym and things but when I go out, go to work or things like that then I wear a reg. bra. Find one that comfortable and youll be happy!!
