Now let me explain my reasoning: I haven't purchased a new game for my PSP in ages mostly because there really isn't anything I'm interested in out there. I mostly use it as a portable (if it can be called that) mp3 player. I figure I can probably sell it and with it's earnings replace it with a DS and maybe even have something left for a 1gig flash mp3 player. Does this make sense? Can somebody please talk me out of it?

No, you're not crazy. I know a couple of people who have done the same. They bought the psp initially because of its appeal(they also got DS's but later on). Afterwards, the psp just slowly died due to its lackluster line-up. There are a few gems but nothing really amazing.
I suggest you go ahead and trade it in.

No, the PSP can do so much more than a DS, i'm a nintendo fan and even i prefer the PSP over the DS. The only thing the DS can do is play really good games. But the PSP can play games, movies, music, I have no feakin clue as to why selling somehing as great as a PSP would even cross someone's mind!!!

if there's no good games then no your not crazy! but make sure its
what u want! one time i traded a Nintendo ds for 10 play station games. big mistake!!! (but i did sell them and get another Nintendo ds because the games sucked!)

Nintendo DS = complete-Blown gay Wii = fantastic promote the ****** DS and use somewhat of ur personal money to get the nano. carry on to the wii although. it really is fantastic and theyre making quite cool video games for it.(in assessment to the retarded DS!!!)

WOW!!! You are the most sane person that I have ever heard of!!! That is about the only thing that the PSP is good for. Listening to music or watching movies. the DS is awesome.
