It's not all that unusual to get cramping and/or pain in the lower back or sides. As the fetus grows, it is putting pressure on the inside of your body...in ways that nothing else will do! For relief, try lying down and propping your legs up on a firm cushion...or find a massage therapist who specializes in pregnant women. Any medication...even OTC stuff, like Tylenol, needs to be approved first by your OB/GYN. If this persists for more that 3 days, you will want to talk to a professional. Never use these types of forum for medical advice. Good luck and happy pregnancy! PS: The end is in sight...:)

properly i'm no rfile yet I do have 6 little ones. A contraction sounds like a tightening of the tummy wall. If that's your first baby and your uncertain what a authentic contraction sounds like you may call it a "cramp". you'd be in the early degrees of not straight forward paintings or you'd be experiencing your body getting waiting for not straight forward paintings. commence timing the 'cramp' and log how lengthy and how far aside. call your rfile no matter if that's consistent. reliable success and prepare for a wild holiday! undergo in thoughts females were doing this perpetually..... so are you able to!

that's how I started my first labor. They are back contractions and you should talk to your doc about it or go to the hospital. You might be in labor. Don't think they are braxton hicks because they probably aren't. I've never heard of someone with braxton hicks in their back. good luck and congrats

Sounds like Braxton Hicks...mention them to your Dr and how far apart they are if they are happening on a regular basis. He'll to an internal and check to see if you are dialating at all

I agree, go to the doctor. You may have a kidney infection which can send you into premature labor.
