Yes! I believe in Mermaids. I believe they stand for freedom, creativity, imagination, youth, beauty, mystery, seduction, magic, enchantment, allure, belief, possability, and everything aquatic!
I believe that they are there somewhere deep in the ocean and that one of these days I'll meet one!

I definetly believe in mermaids and mermen. \Mermaids are associated with the moon, and are the rulers of the tides, and are the followers of beauty and treachery of the sea. The mermaids are friends with all of the creatures in the sea and like to ride dolphins and eels to collect the souls of drowned mortals. Mermaids can come out of the water and change into human form so can the mermen but they deside to stay in their underwater homes unless to fight. So you might never see a merman.

How to catch a Merperson:

To catch a merperson you must first make it fall in love with you. Fisherman and sea folk stand the most chance because they have a lot in common with these fairies. However they can fall in love with anyone, so try this out. Go to a rock at the sea, or the lake, pond......etc. and look out for anyone swimming alot or sitting on a rock singing. Hang a bunch of dried seaweed on the rocks and place a little net sprinkled with rock salt on the water as an offering. You could also throw brightly painted wooden fish into the water as a gift. Dont forget that merpeople can change tails to legs and back again in seconds, so make sure it is a merperson not some merry holiday-maker, or you might get into trouble. Now that you have attracted it to you, steal the shell belt or little sealskin hat, and it will be spellbound to you forever or until you give it the things back. You must always remember that merpeople have very big hearts- it is essential that you dont hurt their feelings.

Well hope that helps you out with your mermaid question!!

Well, it was once normal to misconstrue creatures within the medieval a long time for mythological ones. Not that I imply to disagree on notion in a part human part fish being, however I have no longer learn adequate approximately their life to significantly accept as true with the notion in their life. Though, as this web site shows, one of the most historic races of Southeast Asia is the Nagas, a seafaring race of individuals who traded of their ‘Serpent Boats’ very similar to the Dragon ships of the Vikings. As a few individuals will have assimilated stories in their coming ashore to the boats they commanded, fish then begot guy. Half guy, part fish= Naga. Naga if you're brooding about, is an extra identify for mermaids, or mermen.
