I'am having problems with my camry, as I put my keys to the ignition it won't turn at all. I tried putting WD-40 into the key and ignition and it still won't budge. what could be the problem with the old darn thing.

Make sure the steering wheel is loose against the wheel lock by wiggling the wheel at the same time you are turning the key or try Tapping lightly on the key with a SMALL hammer then try again or try wiggling the key in & out and up and down while turning the key if any on of thease work except for the first one you will need to replace the ignition cylinder and key..

That happened to one on my camrys. my company has 5. I had a new key cut at the dealer from the vin. It hasn't acted up since. If you have an orginal key that hasnt been used, go make a copy and use that.

SOMEBODY could have turned the steering wheel all the way - one way or the other -that puts it in a bind.IF its turned all the way.OR the key could be worn out.

Jerk the wheel and turn the key at the same time.

try to move your steering wheel
and jiggle the key
what happened to you is a safety feature o protect against theft.
