Not much ... if they're happy then good for them ... my aunt married a guy when she was 28 and he was 50 so I'm pretty use to it !
They've been married for 8 years, have 2 wonderful kids & seem to be very happy.

As long as 2 people love each other and they are consenting adults--age does not matter! Just remember that an older man is in a different stage in his life. He will expect you to do as you are told, and he may even become a bit grouchy. What about kids? Get ready to be the primary care giver! My husband is 15 years older than me--I'm 37 and he is 52.

its crazy, thats too big a difference, when she was in diapers he was already 10 years older than she is now. what are they truly going to have in common? he's 50, he's going to be tired when she wants to go out dancing, she's going to want to have sex 6 times a day (for a while) and he'll be exhausted after one, the won't like the same music or movies or anything like that. so fool around if you want but no marriage.

The normal preferred age difference is 7 years up or down, but to me I would have to know the true motivation behind the relationship. If it is true love, than more power to you. But that is the question isn't it???

My best friend was 42 when he married his 22-year old bride, and they have been happily married for 4 years now. True love knows no age.

If people love each other, and can accept the differences between their ages, then age shouldn't matter. Love has no boundries.. the only boudries are in the minds of closed minded people!

GROSS!! You could be his daughter or even granddaughter-NOT you will have much more in common with someone your age. Do you want to have kids someday? He will be to old to take care of a teenager. Like 70!

its sad cause, most men at that age have nothing to offer you for your long future that you have ahead of you, theres is short at that age and you have realy just started your life and you will become a widow at a young age, i just dont get it, ya you could actualy love that person but there are more than one person that you could love and would be more your age.

well i think it great there is a lot of people that marry people of that age and they have a very good life.and age doesnt have any thing to do with it its how you feel in your heart and what other people think well it shouldnt matter because its your life not there.
