Hello all. I want you all to be honest. I'm doing an unoffical office poll here. Out of a typical 8 hour work day how many hours do you actually spend working? Oh... looky there it's almost 5:00. Time to go home. Have a good night.

Well I'm self employed so my hours vary a great deal. Sometimes I can get a lot done in five hours, and other jobs will take me five days. The only way I can answer this is to say that when I goof off, the only one getting cheated is myself.

I work 8 hours out of eight. I get paid by what I produce. But, when I was getting paid by the hour, I still worked about 7 1/2 of 8 hours.

Some of the days I work I get neither a lunch nor even a short break. I know that this is against the law, but it's only about three days a week, and I need the job right now.

At one company I worked out, office productivity dropped a third, after allowing people to access the internet.

At the company where my job was to keep track of office productivity, six hours of every eight hour shift were spent by people doing what they hired to do.

Before I started working from home, I would say that, excluding breaks and lunch, about 80% of my day would be devoted to actual work. There's a human factor at work here. You can't always regulate inturruptions, potty breaks, etc.

Ever because i became little and til in the present day i have continuously referred to as my mum "Mummy" and my dad "Daddy". in simple terms because they in no way spoke back to "mum"/"dad". and that is continuously stuck, i assume. same with my siblings, too. I swear anytime my mom calls me at paintings, and that i answer saying "hi, mummy", i'm getting the most strangest seems from my paintings colleagues. They continuously locate that hilarious and frequently take the mic. and that i will surely see why that is humorous lol yet, that is in no way replaced, and that i doubt it is going to. dad and mom will continuously be Mummy and Daddy. And fairly because they received't respond to at least some thing else from their little ones! : )
