Do something your wife won't like. for instance, forgetting her birthday ( that will take it up about 6 inches) and if you really want to raise that roof even higher.... try cheating on her! You might loose the roof altogether!

Your question is vague...if your intent is to add pitch you can cut back decking on existing roof near eaves, and frame new roof over existing roof. This is fairly simple, and you do not have to re-do soffits, and fascias.
