Well I don't know how old your girlfriend is and how long you have known each other but menstrual periods can be painful. I am not making excuses but it is a individual thing..some women handle it and go about with their business..on the other hand some women don't do well with their periods and some women have periods that are very painful and hard to tolerate..my suggestion to you is to be understanding but also let her know that if she is not feeling that good that perhaps you need to stay away when she is not feeling well..some women use it as a crutch and try to get more sympathy..I am not categorizing her so talk with her and see how she is feeling and make her understand that it is affecting you and she can help you understand what she is going through.

We all are. We can't help it. Those darn hormones rushing through our bodies make us that way. Sitting on the couch all rolled up is pretty good compared to other women. At least you're not getting hurt....

Well, women have all these hormones running through their bodies at that time and it takes control, turning us into demons for a few days. Honestly, I've wondered what the hell I was doing sometimes when I'm on the rag. Just leave her be and don't take anything she does or says personally. Hey, be thankful that it's only once a month!!

she is in pain. menstruation affects every woman differently. some women have absolutely no symptoms, and others are unable to function. it causedby a relaese of hormones that pull the lining away from the uterus. If she is in pain, she could perhaps take the pill as it helps keep hormones level, and stop the production of some of those hormones.

Hormones of coarse. Oh yeah and watch out because women can be very sensitive, so try to be a nice bf. When I get my monthly it feels like someone hit me in the stomach....you men just don't understand.

If you had your hormones go haywire every month and got cramps and headaches, you wouldn't be so happy either.

When you grow a uterus, you can make comments about periods any time. Until then, try to be understanding.

pfft! It sounds like your girlfriend wants a bit of tender love and care, sure periods are a drag, but they really are over exaggerated, they are inconveniant...that's about it...

Mind, I don't get cramps, your girlfriend might be one of those people who get them really bad, try and get her to have a warm bath or a get a hot water bottle...either way, lol...
