because people want to think they are superior to each other. and the only way for them to do that, is to find and easy target. and because you let your guard down, and let people in, unfortunally it lets in jerks!

You're young, you're bored and there is not a thing wrong with either. Have you any idea how many of the world's most wonderful answers have come to those who start asking stupid-seemng questions while they're bored? Most of 'em, actually! Like, a few years ago a young guy was sitting around bored outa his gourd. He started fiddling and freaking around, and invented a thing called a "Rubrick's Cube". Sold that sucker and made millions of dollars! Same thing happened years earlier than that: someone was goofing around bored silly and invented a thing called the "Hula Hoop". Sold that for big bucks! Same with the Frisbee.
But here's the key: they didn't just sit and whine "I'm bo*oo*oored!" They started asking questions, thinking and fiddling and struggling to overcome their boredom. Why don't you try it? Who knows, maybe you'll be the next Bill Gates!

Nope you are young. And well, it's expected of the younger generations to ask stupid questions basically because you are lazy and expect everything to be given to you. Either that or you are blonde, either explination is concidered a sterotype, you might want to look that one up or ask someone else as you just haven't the energy to research so that you don't sound stupid.

The mistake of the young is to believe that knowledge is a substitute for experience.
The mistake of the old is to believe that experience is a substitute for knowledge.

There are no stupid questions; there are only stupid answers

There's no denying that there is a correlation between age of the asker and stupidity of the question.

I guess it's not 100% accurate though so you have a point.

LOL I guess because as we get older, we learn to find out answers by ourselves. But I still ask whatever I need to to find out the answers to questions - and I'm 38.

Never stop learning!

Can't figure out why you'd ask a stupid question on purpose. At least youth is a good excuse.

some people judge others by how they act and what they say. They are just insicure about themselves or have issues. Keep asking your questions girl!
