Keep it simple, the more 'natural' look is in these days and make-up should enhance your features, not create new ones. Use it to even your skin tone, powder to avoid shine, a bit of eye makeup to bring out the color of your eyes (easy on the eyeliner and mascara), a touch of glow to your cheeks, and some shine on your lips and you should be good to go!

there are a few things that u can do to help make the shoot a success....
1.If you are intent on the natural look you can find a translucent powder that will tone down the highlights (consult your makeup artist for recommendations). There is only so much your photographer can do with high key lighting and you certainly do not want your images to project a shinny or oily looking skin.
2.A matte look can make a big difference in the quality of your headshots. By using a solid foundation evenly blended well into the neck and upper chest area the photographer will b able to avoid changes in colors.
3.Your eye shadow should be a lighter shade to avoid the raccoon look. A lighter shade gives a flattering appearance of bringing the eyes forward rather than the unflattering deep set appearance from a darker shade.
4.Keep hair and jewelry accessories small.
5.Striking different poses with the same facial expression does little to enhance your portfolio. Spend some time in front of a mirror learning and developing a variety of expressions.

Hello. Always apply your makeup a little heavier than normal for pictures. Photograpy tends to dull makeup. I'm not saying to pile it on like a porn star, just a little heavier with the eyeliner and mascara, etc. The powder should take care of any shiny skin issues. Make sure to add a little blush to the apples of your cheeks for that rosy look. Carful with too much powder though, you don't want to appear washed out.

find out what form your face has. it`s very important for the blush you`ll apply on your cheeks.if it`s long, use some blush only sideways, if it`s oval, diagonally from the ends of the eyes down to the nose, if it`s rectangular, try a curbed shadow line, and if it`s round, use just a little in the middle of your cheeks.
to make your eyes seem bigger, use a liner on ony the exterior half of your eyelids, going towards the exterior end of your eye. use light colors at the interior corner of the eye, even white, and darker one at the end. any color looks good in combination with white.
mostly the nose and forehead fatten faster so use some powder as specially on them.
also try to give your eye browns a nice form. they are very important
Good Luck!

well, most of all, make sure you don't use a lot of hilighter products or you will have shiny spots for sure...use powder so it will absorb oils and you won't have shine...just use some eyeliner and mascara and the color of shadow to best bring out the color of your eyes and use liner and lipstick ...it will make your smile brighter and your teeth will look white if you use a brownish liner and fill in with just a little lighter lip color..but blend the line with your finger by dabbing it a little so it won't look clownish...and use some blush, not too much, to add shape to your face and make your cheeks look high...brush your brows and fill in if needed, they frame the face and eyes so much..good luck...

keep it simple. use conceler under eyes and on spots, foundation, then powder. if its day, just lip gloss and a light eye shadow, and bronzer for colour. at night, have fun with mascara and lipsticks. and get an unbiased opinion from a friend regarding colours. natural is almost always better.

go to a department store - clinique or lancome and have your make up done there. its free! do it first as a trial though before you get your pics taken, then do it for the real thing if you like how it turned out.
if you dont like it, at least you can learn a few tips from them while they do it.
