Does anyone collect autographs or write to notorious criminals?
I wouldn't expect it to be you, but does anyone?
Is it even possible?

Absolutely (no I don't, by the way). Any number of people correspond with criminals inside. There have even been cases where women (rather gullible I would think), and have actually MARRIED some of these clowns. An autograph from a criminal of historic "interest," like Jesse James or maybe the Birdman of Alcatraz, actually may be worth a small fortune to a collector.
